The report that the Talune struck on a rock oft Swan Island is incorrect. The facts are that off Goose Island the Talune cast one of her propeller blades, this causing a very slight shock. The vessel was going full speed, and had she struck a sunten rock it would have taken the bottom out of her. Dunedin, November 23. Captain Morrison and two men of the Torpsdo Corps are expected to arrive this afternoon in connection with rainmaking experiments. Influenza is spreading in the city and suburbs, but it appears to te of a mild type. No fatalities are reported.
