He is considered by competent judges to be one of the best carriage horses ever imported to this colony. Ho was imported by John Kerr, Esq., M.H.R., who says he has no equal in the colony for getting hacks, hunters, or f/>st and powerful light har--0 ness horses. Oakgrove is by Irvmgton, dam Druidess ; Irvington is by Rysdyk^s Hambletonian, dam Imogene by Seeley's American Star. Oakgrove will be at Mr Charley Fitz* • Herbert's, Cinder Hill, Makino, on Tuesday ; in Feilding and Palmerston on Weanesday ; Bulls on Thursday. Terms : £3 3s per season, or half guarantee £4— £2 first of January, 1892, £2 » first September, 1892, or when mare proves in foal. Paddocking free for one month.
