RULES AND REGULATIONS. Nominations for all handicaps, including jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on Wednesday, 9th December, not later than 8,30 p.m. Competitors are requested to lorward Postal Notes and not Stamps. Two shillings on each event to be paid on Nomination, accompanied by a statement oE public performances for the last two years (matches included), with dates and localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance which can be made on the ground ; othei events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The committee reserve the right to rur any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must be members of some Athletic Society, and must produce certificates to that effect. Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud shall be disqualified for life. The committee reserve the right to require any competitor either before oi after any event to make a declaration .as to bis identity and llie correctness of bi: description of his performances. Tlu committee may disqualify any competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration; and he shall not be entitled to claim anj prize. Entries will be received and sports conducted under the printed rules of th« Peilding Athletic Sports, obtainable fron the Secretary, price Is. Trains will stop at the ground. No intoxicating drinks allowed on the ground. Admission at gates : Adults, Is ; children between 8 and 12 years, half price ; under 8 years, free.
