All necessary arrangements haying previously been made by .the committee everything worked -smoothly, while the handicapping, taking it as a whole, was' satisfactory. There were no accidents of any kind, or protests to mar the harmony of the proceedings, the only exceptions being a few spills at the hurdles of no great consequence, and most important fact of all the affair was a financial success.
