4- " The monthly meeting of this 1 body was held at the offices of the Board. on Thursday last. Mr J. W. Baker, Commissioner of Crown Lands, presided, and were also present'— Messrs "W. McCardle and W. A. Fitzherbert. The following applications to obtain titles were approved, all the conditions of the Act having Been 'fulfilled : — Section 54, Block XIII., Pohangina, W. T. Benfield; Section 1, Block VII., Mangaone, W. B. Mathesbn ; Section 2, Block XII., Oroua, M. M. Browne. The following applications to obtain titles were not -approved : — Section 4, Block 11., Mangaone, H. Cjsepansky; 'Section 74, Block XIV., Apiti,. W. Saywell; Section 11 and 12, Block' VII., Mangaone, E. L. Vince. ' The following applications 'to capitalise were approved :-rSection 37, Block XI, Apiti, J. G. Harris; Section" Bß, Block XIV., Apiti, A. H.~ Tomkins ; Section 45, Block V., Mangaone, J. Robertson ; Section 56, Block V.', Mangaone, J. Baxter.; Section 39, Block V., Mangaone, W. Bobertson ; Section 31, Block IX., Mangaone, F. Bright; Section 1, Block VII., Mangaone, W. B. Matheson. The following applications to transfer were approved : — Section 123, Block XIV., Mangaone, C. Seymour and T. Manley to C. Seymour. . , , : " The "following applications to transfer were not approved, as the conditions of the Act had not been complied with : — Section 25, Block 11., Mangaone, Q. ! Nelson ; Section 47, Block IX., Manga- " one, B. Cleland'. " ' - - • Mr T. W. Croucher applied to transfer Section, 37, Block XIV., Mangaone, to P. Nelson, and it was resolved- to -ask him for reasons why such permission should be granted. , Mr R. C. Kirk appeared on behalf of the selector of Section 42, Block X., Pohangina, and explained the non : fulnlment of conditions, after which the Board adjourned the consideration of the matter for a month. The selector of Section 135, Block XIV., Mangaone, explained why he had not effected the required improvements when due, and also stated that he was having the necessary area felled. — It was resolved that if the improvements are not' done JbjA Maroh next the section will be forfeited^" The Kiwitea Boad Board' forwarded plans and proposals for expending accrued '^"thirds " from sections in the Oroua and Apiti districts, and the Feilding blocks, and it was decided to pass the amounts for the sections benefited by the pro* posals. The Board then, adjourned.
