More Native Troubles

The Herald's Waipiro correspondent telegraphs regarding the native trouble there :—" Tuta Nihoniho still occupies Peni Ameni's pah, close to the "Waipiro township, with sixty or seventy . armed followers. Tuta is anxious to take a portion of the Waipiro block, say 10,000 aores, which he considers the Native Land Court robbed him of, He proposes not to interfere with the lEuropeans, and giyes unsatisfactory replies when asked his intentions, The Native Minister promises to act firmly, and has desired the Tuta people to go back to their settlement. Tufa has wired to Mr Cadman that he will take the l{iw in his own hands if the law will not give him redress. Peni's people are afraid to go for food to their cultivations, which are occupied by Tuta's men. Sir George Whijiinore is here."
