Feilding School Committee
A meeting of the Feilding State School Committee was .held on Wednesday, October 21st. Present — Messrs Lethbndgo (chairmau), Worsfold, .Gurti?, Moiey, Curran, Shearer, and Gould. The minutes of the previous meeting were lead and confirmed. Thorepoit of the Inspectors was read and considered. Correspondence from the Education Board was also read. ■ . It was resolved that the Committeo express "their gratification to the Head JTeachor on the result of the examination, and that he be asked to convey the thanks of tho Committee to the whole of the staff. Tho Visiting Committee reported on their visiting which was very satisfactory. Messrs Morey and Curtis were appointed a Visiting Committeo for the ensuiug month. .. j A list of absentee's children was read/ and complaints made -at the numbor being so large and the' mittter was loft with the Truant Inspector to deal with, I Sovoral accounts were passed for payment and the' meeting adjourned.
