Mangaone School
The Mangaone School was examined in Standards on Fiiday, October 9, by Inspectors Bindcn and Spoticcr. Air 13indon, in bis rcpoif, says tho Alangaono p School lias passed a very creditable examination tbo per cent of passes being 88.6.-' Seventy- eight children wero present, at the school on that day, five children failed and one was e.xcepted. The following are tho narnos of those who passed: — Standard I.— Boy— T. 3>.ing. Girls— Alice Eng, Maratha Lankslicar, Sehna Woodman, Elizabeth Allei-by, Msiggie Stewart. Ethel Hill, Edith Fisher, Etliolino Eug, Florerco Wratt, Elizabeth Kenucdv, Glencora Francis. Standard U.-Boys-H. Garlicb, H. Smith, C- Fowler, T. Fowlur. Girls - Maud Hill, Charlotto Adsett, Janot Stewarr, Mar Mexferl. Standard lll.— Boys— S. Lankshcar, *J. Fisher,©. Lainjr, F. Al'.erby. Girls — Nelho Garlick, Mana Simpson. Standard IV.-Jioys-A. Smith, G. Lsjfesheiir, W. Adsetfc. W. Adsett, A. Francis. Girls— Minnie Gaiiick, Maggie . Shortall, Kate Garlick. Standard V.-T3oys-F. Ploasantc, V. Simpson, W. Simpson. Girl — Olive Qtt&Pleasanls. IP^ Standard VI. --Girl— Elizabeth Shortall. Tho Inspectors* report again mentions *tho need of more "accommodation being provided for this school.
