LATE CLOSING.

TO THE EDITOR OF TH »' STAT\. g IB) — I B ee by your last issue a correspondent deals with the above subject. While I cannot commend the choke of words he uses, I must say the object aimed at has my heartiest support, viz., the preservation of the present 6 o'clock closing hour. I should also very much like to see an earlier hour for closing on Saturday night agreed upon, say 9 o'clock. This would also receive my support. Apologising for trespassing on your space. — I am, &c, S. J. Thompson.
