Following are the results : — Second Hurdles, of 200 soys. About two miles. — Grandson, 9-5 1 ; Fog, 10-11 2, Killarney, 10-7 8. Thirteen horses started. The Craven Plate — A sweepstakes of 10 soys each, 1 ft. with 500 soys added. One mile and a quarter. — Marvel, 9-4 1 ; Megaphone, 2 ; Melos, 3. Mr E. Keys' br h Sir William, syrs, 9-4 4. Of 19 horses on the card these were the only ones to face the starter. Marvel showed the way into the straight, closely followed by Megaphone, who joined the favourite at the distance post. A splendid race ensued, the pair racing home neck and neck, and Marvel gaining the judge's verdict by half a neck. Time, 2min Msec. The Second Foal Stakes, of 20 soys each, sft. or 1 only if declared, with 400 soys added. One mile and a quarter. — Oxide, 1 ; Stromboli, 2 ; Sunshine, 3. The Derby winner fairly held his own to the distance, but eventually the game son of Sardonyx wore him down, and won a good race by half a length. Time, 2min 16sec. The Wycombe Stakes, of 5 soys each, 1 ft. with 350 soys added. One mile and three furlongs. — Bungebah, 9-4 1 ; Aster, 7^3 2; Albeuiarle, 8-0 3. Time, 2mm 30isec. The Sydney Handicap, of 5 soys each with 500 soys added. One mile and a half. — Cobhain, 1 ; Jack, 1 ; Palliser, 3.
