The debate upon the second reading of the Female Suffraee Bill was resumed. After a lengthy discussion the Bill was thrown out. The Ron. C 1 >mal Secretary moved thf second reading of the Post Office Acts Amendment Bill. He stated that the Bill provided for the sending of letters to the Australian Colonies for lfd and newspapers for The Government anticipated that for a year or two there would be a slight loss to the revenne, bu<this was the case with most reforms. — Debate postponed.
