The cities of Analquito and Cosmasagua were completely destroyed, while Cojutepaggue, Santa T&kla, San Pedro, and Mashante, have been, ruined. Since the shock three great volcanic mountains have beco me active. The earthquake took place at midnight. The telegraph lines were broken for a rud us of .sixty miles, and hundreds of lives lost A perfect reign of torror is established, and ihe people are leading the country in all directions.
