Kelson, August 26. A shocking fatal accident occurred early this evening to a little daughter of Mr G. Lock. The father has a hothouse, in which he is forcing cucumbers, and he had been attending the furnace fire, his little toddler being beside him. He left the furance for two or three minutes, and in the meantime the child fell into the furnace. On being pulled out she was fearfully burnt, presenting a shocking sight. The child died shortly afterwards.
