Feilding Jockey Club.
At a meeting of the Committee of the~ Feilding Jockey Club last night, at theDenbigh Hotel, a considerable amount of routine work was done. The matter wa» considered of the claim of the owner of Songster for first money for the Handicap hurdles, run in December last 3 ear, because the winner, Wairua, was run as a--4 year old, when the real age was & years*The claim was upheld, and a resolution passed accordingly. - As Commotion ran third his owner will now be entitled to*' the second money, Mr J. Saunders, was elected a member. After arranging some details in conoonnechon with matters to lay before the>. annual meeting to be held in a few days,, the Committee adjourned.
