Sugar German beet, 13s 6d ; Java, 15s, nominal. No 1 best Seofcch Pig iron, f.o.b. in Clyde, flat at 47s 3d ; copper. £52 5s ; tin, £92 10s ; silver 3s 9|d. There is little demand for beef, and supplies from America are heavy, New Zealand beef : Forequarters are nominally quoted at 2f per lb, and hindquarters 4jd.
