Fire Brigade Sports and Concert
♦ Feilding will be en fete to-morrow on? the occasion of the local Fire Brigade* Sports, gift auction on the Oyal, and grand concert in the eyening in the Assembly Rooms. For the information of those who wilL take part we have been requested. to statethat two alarms will be giyen on the fire-. v bell at one o'clock in the afternoon, anl, at seven o'clock in the eyening. The pig: hunt on the Oval will be an event in thev history of New Zealand, which will put "'y the now historical Wellington stag hunt into the shade. After the flying porker is caught the winner will send in hisf resignation as a member of the Feildingf Brigade, which will be declined with tears and fireworks. At the concert, for whioh a few tickets are yet available at A.Eade's, W. Carthew's, W. Shearer's, and other ' storekeepers, Mr Rapley, of Wanganui, will assist. The comedy, as a wind up, : will be laughter-provoking in the extreme,' ' and everybody should go for their health's sake.
