WEST COAST FARMERS' ASSO- I CIATION. TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAR. Sir, — In reply to- Mr Joseph Browne's letter which appeared in your issue of the 7th inst., I beg to say that owing to the evtensiye support , which has been giyen to "The West Coast Farmers' North '• „ Island Co-operative Association, limited,'* from Wanganui to Patea on the north, and from Palmerston to Wanganui on the south, it was therefore, I, trust, > only reasonable to hold the first' meeting at a ' point which would be least inconvenient for those promoters who reside at 'the greatest distance from the centre. — I , am, &c, ■- John Stevens. \Bulls, July 8, 1891.'
