The Flemington tracks are in such & bad state at present, that it is not unlikely Walter Hickenbotham will journey over to Sydney with Carbine and Megaphone" afc an early date. It is stated that E. Eamage is nofc likely to have recovered in time to steer Carbine in the spring, hia leg being badly fractured as the result of Bendigo falling with him while contesting in the Birthday Handicap at Flemington reoently. '
