The Czar and Czarina have arrived at Moscow to attend the French Exhibition, no Withstanding that three days before it opened four large boxes of dynamite had been discovered, and were evidently intended to be used in N a plot against the life of the Czar. The Customs Department' of the - Exhibition allowed the boxes to pass the French and Russian frontiers unj opened, as they believed them to contain exhibits of machinery. It is rumoured that a mine has been discovered leading from the residence, of the Governor of Moscow across '.he road along which the Czar would proceed to the Exhibition ; also that a second mine has been found under the railway line. Extraordinary precautions have been taken against attempts on His. Majesty's life, even the triumphal arches being dismantled in the search for explosives. ** A feeling of terror exists in Moscow, and the owners of all the houses commanding a view of the square where the Czar proposes to review the troops have been ordered to close their windows.
