Justices Bichmond, Williams, and Denniston delivered their judgments which were in favor of Edwards. Justice Conolly's judgment was in favor of the Crown. Judgment of the Court -was entered up for defendant with costs. The question of - appeal to the Privy Council was mentioned-by Mr Gully," but was left over for the present, he undertaking to consult the legal advisers of the Crown on the subject. Later. In the Edwards case to-day, Mr Gully i obtained leave to appeal to the Privy Council. vlt is understood that the Government intend to send Home the papers necessary for placing the case before the Privy Council by the next mail.
