Fatal Explosion on a Train

EIGHTY FIVE KILLED AND WOUNDED. f PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. I New York, May 20. A quantity of dynamite in a railway waggon exploded while the train was approaching Party Town in New York State. Thirty Italian navvies were blown to fragments, while fcwenfcy-five were severely injured. '' At the time of fche explosion the train was crossing the bridge, and the enginedrive and stoker were blown into the river. The accident is believed to have been caused by a spark from the engine igniting the explosive.
