Correspondence
YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION, TO THE EDITOR OF THE STAK. Sir, — Might I suggest the formation in Feilding, of a " Young Men's Christian Association. " These associations are very noticeable in England, and even more so in America, and I believe, do an immense amount of good. One of which I happened to visit in the latter country, and found a comfortable reading room, fuLl of high toned, and Christian literature. In the room adjoining, prayer meetings, lectures, and classes, were held. There were also other rooms, including concert room and gymnasium. In such an institution evenings can be well spent. A reading and a class room might be taken as a beginning, to be followed by a permanent structure which I hope, in every way would be a credit to Feilding, and a boon to many, including the stranger, as probably with the much quicker advance that Feilding may make in the future we shall have many of. Hoping there are others like myself, who would willingly subscribe to such an institution. — I am, &c, Enquirer.
