The bidding was very briuk, and all the cattle were sold at advanced prices. The sheep was not of as good a class as at recent sales, but we sold all excepting one pen. Our quotations are — Cattle.— Fat cows, £3 12s 6d to M 2s 6d ; 3 and 2-year steers, £3 13s to £3 19s ; 2 to 2^-year steers, £2 15s to £3 ss; cows, £2 13s 6d to £2 15s ; 3-year steers, £3 10s ; Angus cows, ££ 4s ; Angus Bulls, 3 and 4 guineas, weaners and yearlings, 25s to 345. ' - Sheep.— Breeding ewes, 9s to 12s 8d; fat.sheep, 10s 6d ; empty ewes, 6s lid ; sheep, 9s 8d ; lambs, 9s.
