The series closes on -■ the 28th. 1 The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) 1 have receiyed the following cable message from their London office, dated the 14th inst. :— Wool the sales 3 progress steadily. Up to date 116,---f 000 bales have been sold. : Sydney, April 15. 1 Butter — Local dairy made r 9d to 1 lOd; factory, lld to ls L Cheese, 4d to sd ; loaf size, s£d. . Bacon— Machine cured, s£d to 6£d ; I hand cured, 7d to Bd. Hams— NewZealand, lOd to lld.
