' "On Friday last, at the Oluß Hotel, Palmerston North, a' meeting of delegates to the Manawatu Rugby Union was held.' Present— Messrs F, W. Jackson and Ive'son (Marton)^ Fowler and Say well (Feilding), and Jewell aud Guy (Palmerston). The report stated out of the three representative matches played since the-re-organisation laf the Union one had .been won, one lost, and the other drawn greatly in favour- of Manawatu. .- The cup which had been presented to the Union for competition amongst its' teams- by Mr H. W. Hajbittle, .wbb> woni by'Feildin'g, 1 - they having won- it two years successively, beating Palmerston on each occasion by one point. The report' and balance-sheet were adopted, and Feildmg on Saturday, 25th inst., wsa appointed the next place , of meeting. 1 The following ■ gentlemen were elected , officers of the Club :— President : Mr L. , A. Abiaham; Vioe-Prendents : Messrs Thurston, Se-ker, and Light; Manage-' , ment Committee : - The. delegates : Match i Committee : Messrs Randall (Palmeratou) , Fowler (Feilding), and Jackson (Marton).
