The New Zealand Loan »nd Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 2nd instant :— Wool — The sales openei to-day at the level of last sales, except for fine greasy cross, bred, for which Ihe market is firmer. For faulty scoured the market is easier. The attendance of both Home and Foreign buyers is good, and competition is fairly active: The total quantity avail, able, including wool held over from last series, is 350,000 bales, ,76' JO bales "of which have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts direct.
