Late . in : the afternoon, when all were together in a whare, seeing some ducks come along they prepared to fire. Three. fired at once. Horswell, thinking all had fired ro3e, and received the contents of the re* maining gun in the back, of the head. Half, his head was . blown away. He Hred two hours. - , <■ • Wkstpobt, April 3. • While a party of young men were. out shooting on the terraces yesterday a lad named Thomas Wilson received a charge of shot in his hand from a gun fired) bj his brother. The sufferer was brought to town, and his injuries attended to by Dr Wright, who despair*, however, of saving the hand.
