At. the Sunday Church parade, held by the Bishop of Wellington, a collection was taken up in aid of the fund for erecting monuments on the soldiers' graves killed at Nukuliiaru. The Permanent Artillery gave an exhibition of physical drill, and the Hera-, taunga Cavalry lance drill. Yesterday the sham fight and review took place ; the Reviewing Officer being: Col. Hume. ' There were upwards of 8000 peoplepresent from Wellington, Napier, Wanganui, and other places. Col. Pit!>-Com~ mandant, in addressing the men at th» conclusion said the Reviewing Officer waswell pleased with the work done, and hisreport to the Government would be very favorable. The behaviour of the men inand out of camp had been exceedingly good. The encampment has been" pronounced to be, on the whole, the most, successful held on this coast. The Wanganui and Napier contingents; left last night, and a portion of the Wellington battalion, but the majority of the; men left by special train at 5 a.m. this.morning. .
