Fatal Bushfelling Accident

Yesterday, when felling a tree on the Spur road, Mangaone, Mr Neils Gunderson was struck by a dead branch which became detached and fell from the tree. His right thigh was fractured in- two I places, and besides a severe wound on the head, he received several internal injuries. Although Dr Charlton, who was sent for, did all that was possible, he died shortly afterwards. Deceased was 60 years of age. There will be no inquest, and the funeral will take place on Monday next, at 11 a.m.
