Report of the Committee for the year Slst'December, 1891 :— " The financial affairs of the Church have ' deceived their due measure of increased prosperity from the progress made by our town and district during the year, and iiiore particularly in the last quarter, when "Sabbath collections exceeded those of any quarter for six years. The committee have placed the congregation within the benefits of the Aged and Infirm Ministers' .Fund, a scheme by which due retiring al--1 lowance is ensured for ministers who may become incapacitated. " Three debentures were redeemed in ' * "May last, leaving a debit balance of £'85, . "which it is fioped may be reduced to £.10 in; May next. "During the year the choir earned „ eleven pounds odd for the funds, its distribution being now shown under a separate -heading in the.balance sheet. The Organ- , ist and Leader continue to discharge their duties with commendable regularity, notwithstanding a degree of apathy on the part of younger members. Several of the older and more regular members have formed new home ties, and take with them the hearty good will of their fellow.workers, one of- them receiving special recognition in the form of a presentation from - her fellow teachers in the Sabbath School.
