THANKSGIVING SERVICE.
[ In connection with the Harvest Thanksi giving and Mower Services, held at St. John's Church on the 22nd inst., two I boxes" of very fine fruit and one box of the , best flowers contributed on that occasion, ■were forwarded to the Wanganui Hospi- ; tal by tne early train on Monday morning, in acknowledgement of which the i Secretary of the Hospital Board has written under date of the 23rd inst. to the Rev. A. Hermon as follows : — " Dear Sir, — I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 20th inst/; also the very thoughtful donation of three boxes of fruit and flowers, for which, on behalf of the Hospital patients, I beg to thank you. The gift, need I say, was thoroughly appreciated.^- Yours Truly, A. C. Ritchie, Secretary."
