He shot himself with a re- * volver,: death being instantaneous. He 3 had been in a desponding state lately in 5 consequence of his defeat at the general ' election, and also felt the death of his old chief, Sir William Pitzherbert, keenly. The only particulars of Mr Bunny's death known so far are that he had refreshments in the hotel yesterday morning, then borrowed the key of the Council Chambers, sat in a chair ond shot himself I through the stomach.
