The Late Indian War
(I'ER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Washington, Febrnary 13. President Harrison has received a deputation from the Indian tribe 3 who were concerned in the recent rising. The Indians declared that women and children were shot dow n by the troops after a flag of truce had been hoisted, and children were butchered after assurances had been given by the officers commanding the troops that their lives would be spared.
