The Free Coinage Bill, introduced by a private member' in the Senate, fixing the value of a dollar at 412£ grains of silver, has been passed. Information has been received that five of the leading Indian chiefs have surrpndpred to General Miles. Wool growers in the State of Ohio oppose the modifying of wool duties unless free admission of goods is conceded. Valparaiso, January 15. The' Chilian rebel fleet are blockading the port ot Iquique. Algiers, January 16. A severe earthquake occurred here, and fifty houses were destroyed. Washington, January 16. The Indians who submitted have agreed to give up their arms. Altogether- 4000 have surrendered, and 7000 others are surrounded by the troops.
