Dunedin, January 8. At the second wool sale of the season the bidding was animated, and well sustained, the pi ices 'realised at the las>t Bales being fully maintained,., and in several instances a' substantial advance was established. ? Wellgrown deep-stapled, five half-bred was in strong demand. The prices reaching as high as lid, per lb, Coarse Romuey, Lincoln, and Leicester was slow of sale at unsatisfactory prices. Merinos was also weak, only, best long staples combing, and quarter back meeting with favour. Bright, light, well-grown, five half-bred sold at 9£d to lid; medium B£d to 9d heavy; inferior and discoloured, 7^d to 8d ; Leicester Lincoln, and coarsu cross-bred, bright, and light, B£d to lOd; medium, 7d to 8-Jrl ; inferior earthy and stained, 5d to 6£d,
