Behring Sea Dispute
(per united press association.) Washington, January 3. Sir Julian Pauucefote, the British Ambassador, has informed Mr J. G. Blaiue, the Secretary for the United States, that the seizure of British vessels in Behring Sea, outside the three-mile limit will meet with immediate and forcible resistance. President Harrison has ordered twelve cruisers, four revenue cutters, aud seven patrol steamers to assemble at San Franctsco within a month. It is understood that the mobilising is in connection with the Behring Sea fishery dispute. Received January 5, 10 30 a m. Washington, January 5 Great activity is being displayed in American dockyards. The American Press discourage Mr J. G. Blame's action, with regard to the Behring Fisheries, London, January 5.
