Feilding Borough Council

A special meeting was held on Friday, November 14th, for the purpose of making a special order for the deviation of roads through Manchester Square. Present, the Mayor, Crs. Haybittle, J. C. Thompson, Goodbehere, Rutherford, Sandilands and T. R. Chamberlain. Proposed by Cr JC Thompson, seconded by Mr Lethbridge, and carried, That the Kiwitea Road and Manchester Street a ? now running through the Square, be diverted to the sides of the said square, to be not less than 80 feet wide ; and that the legal notices for one month in reference hereto be published as directed by the Municipal Corporations Act 1886 Proposed by Cr. Goodbehere, seconded by Cr Sandilands, and carried, That a special meeting of this Council, be held on Monday 15th December at 8 p-m , for the purpose of confirming the special order, re deviation of roads through the Manchester Squarei
