Collision of Two Trains

1.P98 UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION. • London, November 11. A collision took place place between two trains at Taunton, in -Somerset* hire, one of which waa conveying -from"P ly-, mouth to London the passengers whioh had arrived by the Norham Cattle from the Cape. Six of ten persons who were killed were burnt to death, owing to the carriages catching fire. I November 12. The persons killed and injured in the collision were mostly returning- •migrants. The accident occurred at midnight, the first carriage being ignited by fire from the engine. A signalman hat been arrested on a charge of causing the disaster by neglect of duty.
