Barttelot was accustomed to product the natives savagly with his lano-a, and he killed a boy with kicks. -''■'". Jamieson, according to Bonny, actually confessed that he had purchased a girl for 12s 6d and ahandkerchief, for the purpose of getting up a cannibal feast, which he might witness and sketch.
