The attendance was large and bidding spirited throughout, and excellent prices were realised. Our quotations are : — Cattle.— Bnllo.jks, 8 and 4-yr £B 10« to £4 Is ; 2| to 8- yr steers, JB& 10s to ,82 15s; forward heaters, £1 12s 6d to £2 13s ; cows and calves, £2 14s ; store cows. £2 2s to -£2 2s 6d ; cows in calf, Bss ; 2-yr heifers, 26b to 82s. . Sheep. — Hogeute, 10a 8d; fat shorn sheep, 9s; ewes with lambs, 13s lid.
