ON CHARITY. TO THK KDITOK OF THE STAR. Sir, — Can you tell me why no leaa than three religious bodies were se wanting in charity as to hold meetings on the evening of the concert for the relief of the distressed widow and family of the late Mr Waddington, thereby reducing the takings materially. If not intentional, then surely it is true that " evil is wrought by want of thought as well as by w»nt of heart." — I am, &c, Iconoclast.
