I PKB UITITED PBEBB ASSOCIATION. J Woodvill, This Day. At the quarterly meeting ef the Farmers Cluh last night, J. R. Lanange, representing Nelson Bros., intimated that that firm had arrapge to establish freezing works here capable of putting through five hundred sheep per day to start with, and the works are to be built to put through a thousand a day when required. The works will be opened in twelve months from now. Chbistchcbch, October 30. Mrs Rose Lobidieb, a performer at Wirth's Circus, fell off her horse while practising this morning, and was struck on the back of her head by the horse's hind foot. It is feared that her skull is fractured. | Wellington, October 31. , Charles Chess, occupier of the place raided by the detectiyes on Sunday night, pleaded guilty at the Police Court this morning to the charge of keeping a gaming house, and was fined £20.
