(per united press association.) Dcnebin This Day. It was thought the Presbyterian Synod had disposed of the Confession of Faith on Tuesday night, but it came, up again last night in a new form, in the shape of an overture from the Presbytery of Southland, on which the Rev. Mr Stobo moved that the Synod adopt the overture, and declare that in the judgment of the Synod the confession of the doctrinal system ought to be maintained unimpaired in its integrity in the constitution of the Church.
