STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. b Bulls. Octnher 16 i In spite of the very bad weather we s had an excellent sale at Awahnri this . week. We had- fair entries of cattle and sheep, and sold all excepting 3 head of cattle. The bidding was spirited throughout and good prices were realised. Our quotations are : — Cattle. — Fat cows, £4 ; very forward bullocks, £ 3 18s go £5 ; fat cows and heifers, ,£3 5s to 12s 6d ; o-year steers, £3 10s 6d ; 2-year steers, £2 14s ; 18---uiouth mixed, 285.6 d. Sheep. — Hoggets, various prices, from j lis to I3s ; ewes with iambs, 12s 9d.
