Train Services
By a telegram from Wellington we are informed that the WellingtonManawatu Eailway Company intend to resume the Thursday trains, and the Government will connect the service between Longhurn and Palmerston. Why Feilding should not be " connected " is hard to understand. There are about six thousand people to serve in this Borough and surrounding districts, and they should receive some consideration. The fact of Thursdays having been the established market days for some years, makes the inconvenience doubly felt. We trust the '• powers that be" will see their way to make the desired concession, and run the mail trains as far as Feilding.
