Hawkes Bay Guineas, of 250 soys ; 1 mile— Mr Ormond's eh c St. Andrew, by St. Leger — Scottish Lassie, 1 ; Mr Butler's Crackshot, 2 ; Captain Russell's Aronoel, 3. Leolantis, Medallion, Mejidie and Dreamland also ran. Medallion was a hot favorite, but was never in it, finishing last. St. Andrew won asJie liked in lrnin 45 l-sth sec. Dividend, £5 Bs. Maiden, 1 £ mile— Kupenga, 1 ; Queen of Trumps, 2. Dividend, £6 4s. Welcome Stakes, 5 furlongs — Rosenfeldt, 1 ; Cretonne, 2 ; Free Lance, 3. A tight race. Dividend, £4 10s.
