The Manchester Rifles met for drill and inspection last night. Captain Pleasants, Lieut. Kirton, and ; Dt Oharlton and a good muster of noncommissioned officers were in attendance. Sergt' Major Macmillan : submitted the corps to some smart coaching drill which the reoruit« evidently neededv ' The next parade will be on Friday 10th of October after which there will o meeting for the election of a liejut.
