STEVENS & GORTON'S STOCK REPORT. Bulls, Sppt. 10. Out Bale at Palmerston North last week was well attended. Bidding was spirited and good prices were obtained for all classes of stock, the fat cows (good quality) bringing a higher price than we have had for some time. At Bulls yesterday the bidding was very dull, most of the lines being past in, but we were able to do good trade after the sale aad cleared off most of the sheep and several pens of cattle Our quotations are as follows : — Cattle. — Palmerston, fat cows, £5 to £5 28 6d ; fat heifers, £5 : 3-year steers, £3 10s to £3 12s; forward bullocks, £3 17b 6d; 2 to 2^-year steers, £2 10s ; milkers, £3 7s 6d to £5 ss. Bulls. -Fat cows, £3 1 6s to £4 15s; 4-year bullocks, £3 I7s6d; 18-mbnthß 2-year, £2; milkers, £3 6s to £3 1 0s 6d ; store cows, 30t>. Sheep- — Palmerston North, fat wethers, 12s lid; mixed hoggets, (various classes), 7s 7d to 10s 7d. Bulls.— Forward wethers, 13s to 13s Id; hoggets, (various classes)* 7s 6d
