Feilding Hunt Club

A meeting of S;ewards of the Hunt Club Steeplechase was held at Mrs Hastie's Hotel on Saturday last. PresentMessrs Lance (chairman), Charlton, loyejoy, Harley, Clissold, Lloyd, Maoinillan, Saxon, JSoake, and Mr E. Q-uod-behere (Secretary). Resolved, That the name of Mr Lloyd he added to the committee. Nominations as published elsewhere •were received. Mr J. vSmith made an offer to purchase the whole of the privileges for £50, ■which was accepted. A committee was appointed to arrange the steeplechase course, consisting of Messrs Lloyd, Clissold, and Lance. Resolved, That the offer of Messrs Hill and Poole to work the totahsator at 2£ per cent be accepted. That was all the business.
