The edicts against the Bussian Jews declare that they must reside in the large towns only, and forbids them owning or farming land. Ten thousand have been expelled from yillages and rendered homeless. It is intended to enfore the law compelling Jews to reside in sixteen counties only. Artisans, miners, farmers, and professionals will all be ruined if the edicts are pressed. It is estimated that a million will be expelled from their present homes, and it is believed the object is to drive all the Jews into the overcrowded towns where they will be decimated by starvation and disease. Keceived July 30, noon. London, July 30. H.M.S. Britain art has been despatched from Tralee with police and marines to Blasquett island, oft the west coast of Kerry, for the purpose of evicting tenants of the ISarl of Cork, who refuse to pay rent. It is almost certain that the tenants will resist the eviction, and it is expected a serious conflict between them and the police will result.
